DASCOM Appoints Trade Links As Major Distributor In Middle East
TallyDASCOM printer products to be fully distributed in Gulf Region

DASCOM GB, developer, manufacturer and provider of enterprise printing solutions, today announced that it has appointed Kuwait-based Trade Links as its Master Distributor in the Gulf Region. The arrangement reflects both companies’ commitment to development and expansion in the Middle East and will also allow both companies to drive new growth opportunities.

After acquiring key assets from TallyGenicom in May 2009, DASCOM set up its EMEA operations to offer reliable and robust printing solutions for business critical applications. DASCOM GB was established to support the UK, Irish, Scandinavian, Benelux and MEA markets with its portfolio of serial, passbook, mobile, thermal as well as the popular line matrix printers. Existing serial dot matrix printers are branded ‘Tally’ and the new matrix models and the thermal printer range are sold under the ‘TallyDASCOM’ brand.
Trade Links, which was set up in 1997, has been highly influential in the growth of the printer market in Kuwait and the Middle East, being instrumental in the development of Arabised printer solutions, especially for the banking, healthcare and government sectors. Initially specialising in printer technology, it now also provides a range of products including electricity and water reading software, Internet and broadband services and Point of Sale solutions.
